Planning my prison break..
It was 2016. I had just graduated as a civil engineer and was ready to officially level up in the construction industry. I had been working for a major civil engineering company in South Africa since 2010 and had been promoted several times over the years. I thought this was it. For the next 35 years, my family and I would be travelling from project to project, never settling down or making a life for ourselves. A deep sense of fear and dread came over me and I knew I had to make a decision. I had to make it now!
